Hi All,
I have in my possession a letter dated 30th January 1941 explaining the conditions for the award of the Totenkopfring and the honour granted to the SS for being able to wear it. It is signed by Heinrich Himmler and is awarded to Standartenführer Günther Frhr. von Reibnitz
Is this the Reibnitz that had problems with the Nazis during his military career, although he was an SS member (and was the father the woman who became Princess Michael of Kent!!!!
My question is the obvious one…...is the letter genuine and is the signature genuine or is it some sort of autopen? …..or is the whole thing fake?
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks in advance,
Terry
