Considering the quality of the fakes and the deluge of faked high end award citations being sold as single citations (or being added to genuine slips of paper) I would want to see a photo of the man wearing that badge before even contemplating it.

I like the looks of this document but I agree with Kevin that it’s reasonable to be skeptical. There have been so many single documents for high level awards on the market over the past few years that I would need to see more provenance, proof, better accompanying documentation, and/or a photo in wear to even consider making this kind of investment. Perhaps there is a photo of this document with a larger group, and that it was separated at some point given the ability to maximize to the return. Surely, it was part of a group in the past and did not come out of the estate simply as a single.

I like the looks of this document but I agree with Kevin that it’s reasonable to be skeptical. yes, brian. both kevin and you're right. that's why I opened the thread. it has a very good looking but comes "alone" being a high level award. my thinking was that perhaps someone see a red flag that I don't see and all together may get a plus about those high ended fakes.

Bought by me in 2012. The group was more. There were still documents for 25 and 50 tank attacks. But there wasn 't enough money and I only bought a raw expensive document. The rest of the documents were sold out separately.
