    Here are my two latest acquisitions, this gives me 25 spange documents.

          Th elisting for Schilling in the Marinearchiv site has this:

          Verleihungsurkunde für die Dienstauszeichnung 2.-4. Klasse, für 18 jährige treue Dienste, als Oberwaffenwart im Marinesperrzeugamt Swinemünde, ausgestellt am 2.10.1936; Verleihungsurkunde für die Dienstauszeichnung 1. Klasse, für die 25 jährige treue Dienste, als Kapitänleutnant (W), ausgestellt am 15.9.1939; Verleihungsurkunde für die Spange zum Eisernen Kreuz 2. Klasse, ausgestellt in Oslo am 7.8.1941 durch Generaladmiral Hermann Boehm - Kommandierender Admiral Norwegen - ; Verleihungsurkunde zum KVK 2. Klasse mit Schwertern, ausgestellt in Oslo am 20.4.1943; anbei sind zahlreiche Abschriften zu Zeugnissen des Mannes, wie z.B. Dienstleistungs-Zeugnis, Verpflichtungsschein, Torpedoschule, etc.

            Very detailed additional info by Hucks216. regarding the other one :
            The signature looks to me like it could be : Herzog ?! (RK + EL)
            Then this would be his biography :

            Around the time this doc was issued, both divisions (96. and 291. ID) were next to each other under XXXXII. AK,
            somewhere in the area of Bourges, SE of Orleans (map attached).
            (Perhaps some arty of 196. ID had been lent to 291. ID ? This could explain why the Kdr. of 291. ID signed ?!)
