    party book on estand

Hello, I have been talking to this seller about this book and have agreed on a price, but I would like to get some opinions on it before finalizing sale. I am not as familiar with the older style books. I have owned newer style ones but not the old ones. Just want to be sure. Link below. Thanks in advance for any and all input.

    Hi,

looks to be perfectly fine and 100% original.

Fakers usually don't put much work in the monthly stamps, here you can clearly see that they were period sticked.

    See You

I felt the same way but just wanted to be sure. The cover is in perfect condition, almost like it was never issued, yet it has 9+ years of stamps inside. I guess this guy was just very very clean person who kept his stuff tidy. That was the only thing that bothered me about it. Thanks for your input, much appreciated.

        Yes looks good.

Nice to have a uniform photo with it.

        It’s good to check.

Made the deal and bought the book. I am excited about it. I have spent the night researching them and I was surprised to see how many different eagle designs there were for the front covers of these books. I always thought there were only two (the older one with wings swooping downwards and the newer one with the wings straight out to the sides) but there are at least three of the downward swooped winged eagle designs I have found so far. One has the rotated (diamond shaped) swastika and two have the static (or square) swastika. One of the static ones has just the outline in gold embossing (like the one here) and the other has the whole eagle embossed instead of just the outline. It looks like once they switched over to the newer design, it became standardized like all other items in the party. If this is common knowledge to the rest of you please excuse my ramblings. I was just surprised to find the different designs. So much to learn...

That’s absolutely part of the fun isn’t it? Research the items you enjoy, especially when it’s a new subject.

                  Hi,

Eric, welcome the the wonderful world of NS paper items, you opened a never-ending quest for printed variations.
I learned over the years to never underestimate the NS publications.
When you start to discover variations, your may never know when it will end...

Hello guys, I normally only collect party badges. This after curbing my urge to buy every cool thing I come across at shows and flea markets etc. My collection had grown to a size that it was in need of a space to accommodate it all. It all started with a pistol (my first and life long love....guns) which was a party leader RZM marked PPK. I never had any interest in TR items until that pistol but then researching it, I got sucked in and before you know it I had a dozen helmets and several trays of awards and tinnies etc. My wife began to get concerned that I was becoming a white nationalist LOL. But I was offered a gun collection and ended up selling off most of my TR items to buy the rifles. I missed them after some time abd made up my mind that I would limit my future TR collecting to small items. I saw another member's party badge collection and something about those little red enamel badges all lined up in rows was very attractive to me so that's what I've focused on since.

That said, I will say that spent three hours on a WW2 German postal items site looking at rare post cards and I came away from it spell bound. I can see myself getting into those as well. Like party badges it looks like it would be affordable to start off with but you can also spend whatever you want on rare ones as well. These member books are awesome but they are so rarely seen for sale, it would be hard to actually collect them. Thanks for the welcome, I may be spending more time in this forum in the future.
