    Luger on Lanyard Photo

    Cropped from a larger photo. WW 2 period "full shots" of exposed "Luger on Lanyard" photos are few and far between...at best, you mostly just see the lanyard disappear into the Luger holster while the gun is being carried on the hip. In this instance, this Wehrmacht member was escorting captured English Prisoners during the Dunkirk battles....

            Nice one Kev.

            He’s obviously got it ‘at the ready’ as he’s guarding prisoners.

            By the look of it he’s a motorbike rider or similar with the goggles which is why he has a side arm.

            ( He could have given the lads a hand with their bags!).
