Hi Guys,
For the last few years (about 5) I have been working on the history of the 9th (Pionier) Kompanie, SS-Panzer Regiment 1 LSSAH, and I am nearing completion of the project.
I have built up a Kompanie list of men who served with it which is now at 545 men. Any new information would be very helpful.
I have managed to acquire the photos of two former veterans, Franz Sobecki and Willi Träger, with over 100 photos to help illustrate my project. But there are still gaps.
The Kompanie was formed out of the 3rd Pionier Kompanie of the Pionier Bataillon, LSSAH.
3rd Pionier Kompanie, 08.1940 to 11.1942
9th Kompanie/Pz Rgt, 11.1942 to the end of the war
The 9th Kp was also called the 14th Kompanie from June 1943 until July 1944.
If anyone has any photos or documents of the above unit or men from it, or indeed a photo of a LSSAH SdKfz 251-7 in Normandy 1944 I would be eternally grateful.
Please contact me at:

Thanks for any help
Cheers
Steve
