    Ehren Chronik

    Hi everyone,

I bought this (regrettable unissued) Ehren Chronik recently. The cover shows an life size EK I which is embossed like on the top lid of an EK I case. Inside are many pictures of the campagne in the West and pages with medals (I recognize a Eugen Schmidhäussler EK I Spange), pages which the recipient has to fill in and pages reserved to add pictures.

Anyone familiar with these books? Someone has perhaps an example that is used? Is it rare? For me it is the first time such piece crossed my path.

        Hi,

blank/unissued copies are quite common, you can find also used ones, but again the value depend on the unit and the war history of the soldier.

Many printers proposed this kind of Ehren Chronik, but no study on WH models exist.

        See You
