Autographs Kesselring - Mackensen - Mälzer from Camp 373 Wolfsberg

    Hi guys!

This letter was sent to a woman from Austria who was a prisoner too in the British "373 Camp Wolfsberg - E-Theses" in 1945 and had to look after the Generals as a kind of "help".

    Signatures of:

    - Generalfeldmarschall Albert KESSELRING
    - Generaloberst Eberhard v. MACKENSEN
    - Generalleutnant Kurt MÄLZER

All three of them (and also Max SIMON) were imprisoned there because they were made responsible for the executions in the so-called "Ardeatinische Höhlen".

    Best, Peter

Very interesting item Peter, I especially like what Kesselring has written about the youth of Germany.

One more letter, this time with the addtitonal signature of Max Simon. The text at the beginning is a thanks to Mrs. Schlamadinger for taking car of the Generals for about 10 month as POW's.

      Best, Peter

And VtwinVince, thanks for Your comment.
