    Family Album / Tree

I acquired a family album / tree / diary. It has the history of a family starting in the early 1900's and ending in the late 1930's.

The book is very detailed with tons of pictures, it follows one fellow from Hitler youth to the Luftwaffe for example.

I think this book should probably go back to the family, any idea how I can find out who they are ?

    Thanks !!

Without knowing the Family Name of the owner it's very difficult to identify the Family.

We only know the first name "Hans-Joachim" and the date of his birth: 20th April 1919.

We do not know the place he was born. The name of the godfahers are given but they come from

different places and have differnt family names.

      Gerden,

These are the last two pages in the book as well as the last photograph.

Not sure if these will help ?

        is the surname Hellmuth

There is a photo of Arbeitsmann Hellmuth and the name Hellmuth is mentioned within the document in the photos provided. Paul Hellmuth at the baptism.

The last name in the last line is metioned as

"Pate Paul Helmuth, Vetter des Vaters in Holleben" - Godfather Paul Hellmuth, cousin of his

          father from Holleben.

But the subject of the person in the album should be Hans-Joachim ("Unser / our - Hans Joachim)

          1) The listed names and addresses of these 5 ladies are all so calles "Kräzchentanten",

persons called "Tante" (aunt) but not really related with the guy.

            Hellmuth

His name is clearly Hans Joachim Hellmuth based on the Arbeitsmann Hellmuth name tag next to photos of him and the later photo of him as a Gefreiter in Luftwaffe uniform. Mystery solved.
