Good evening gents,
I received these documents today from one of my pickers in Vermont. Of course the name alone is reason for the alarm bells to go off and I am skeptical for that reason. The documents themselves appear to be period examples based on the printing techniques, however I'd like to hear your opinions on whether-or-not you think the attribution to Wolff is original.
The signatures were done using a fountain-like pen as you can see the impressions of parallel points within the ink flow (although I know that can be done at any time) and they were printed using a block press as you can see the impressions of the type face on the reverse.
Considering the value of these if original I'd sincerely appreciate it if comments can be more descriptive than a thumbs up or thumbs down.
Thanks to Thierry for compiling the list of Wolff's awards that I hoisted from another Thread.
I appreciate your time in looking and any feedback you can provide.
Best regards!
Bob
