    Document group on the E-Stand

    Hi,

I would like to ask your opinion about this grouping. Is it all right?

    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru....php?t=1007516

    Thank you in advance.

    Best regards,
    George

I hate to say that because the seller is a nice Guy, sure he is not the award document expert, and didn"t saw that for sure, but this Group is complete garbage. Prints are odds, stamps are bad fakes, and signatures all made by an unexperienced faker.

I agree with Lionel - poor stamps and signatures and some of the paper looks quite fresh. Not sure I have ever seen an Infanterie-Regiment stamp with the unit number before the words 'Infanterie-Regiment' rather than after (the first citation shown), although maybe someone else has. But for me, this group is fake.

Thanks Lionel, I think so, but if this is said by an expert, it is always more convincing.

Tks George and Hucks216. Here are 2 signatures from General Paul SEYFFARDT (one handmade, one with stamp) in a german cross Group gotten from the Vet many years ago. Note also the correct stamp used on the E.K.1 award doc.

Note also the ISA document, bottom left, "Druckerei... 8.41" but awarded 8.9.40...

The 4 stamps use on the fakes are obviously produced by the same manufacturer (greetings to eastern Europe ), most abbreviations, "points" and "indents" are wrong. The gothic lettering of the stamps is also something which is scarce to find on original award documents, but very often used for producing fakes.

I can only agree with Lionel and Hucks. I've added it to the fake docs gallery.

And thank you George for bringing it up.
