    Adolf Hitler (1889 - 1945)
Lot 9179: Adolf Hitler (German, 1889-1945) - Graphite Drawing

Description: This lot consists of a hand drawn graphite illustration on paper, signed and attributed to the political leader and future dictator Adolf Hitler (German, 1889-1945). "Adolf Hitler" is hand written at bottom right. Underneath the signature is what appears to be the date of "1940". Image depicts three Nazi soldiers donning guns and flanked by cannons. Overall unframed piece measures approximately 8.25" x 7.75".

Piece has two Nazi insignias. One ink stamp en verso with German writing. The other is an embossed Nazi symbol on the bottom left of paper.
The Phoenix Auction Company has been commissioned to liquidate several private collections of fine art. The pieces in this auction come from established collectors both in the United States and Europe.

PLEASE NOTE: Lots that do not carry established documented provenance nor any past auction record are described in the catalog as "attributed". Authentication has not been established nor is it implied. Definition of "attributed" is as follows:

Attributed to [Artist Name] : The work may be ascribed to the artist on the basis of style, but there may be some question as to actual authorship.

Please use photos as part of the description. The absence of condition report does not guarantee excellent condition. Please contact us for an in-hand evaluation or for additional photos.

Dimensions: Overall unframed piece measures approximately 8.25" x 7.75"
Condition Report: Piece is in overall good condition. Some age-related toning and foxing, heaviest around the edges. Left side has two approximate 1/4" tears -- Image and signature remain crisp, bold and show very well.

    Provenance: Private Collection

Notice that the "three Nazi soldiers" are obviously WW1 German ones...
And notice the fake LSSAH stamp on the back...

I'm not an art expert, but the vast majority of the items in this auction lare imo ugly low quality bad fakes...
All the illustrations and drawnings seemed to be bad Conrad Kujau copies...

    See You
