Identification of unknown WH General + chaplain 1942 ?

Hi,

i'm reposting the pictures of drop40 originally posted there :

Can anyone identify the Wehrmacht General and the chaplain that was recently awarded the War Merit Cross 2nd class with swords.

It seemed that the picture is from 1942, there are additional infos on the back of it. Can anyone decypher the writing ?

The General is Alexander Edler von Daniels.
