I have my doubts but I am not 100% certain either way.
There is a Hans Richter listed as having been killed on 27th March 1943 with U-169 but that flotilla was commanded by Korvkpt Kuhnke.
However there is also a Hans Richter as having been killed on the 25th March 1943 (obviously not a good month for those with that name) on U-469 and that flotilla was commanded by Korvkpt Richard Zapp (RK). That citation looks quite new and while I am doubtful as to the originality of the signature I have nothing to compare it against. It also looks quite fresh and possibly done with a more modern pen but I am not sure if that is down to the lighting or camera flash.
As Zapp was a Knights Cross holder maybe a collector of RKT related signed items might have another example to compare it with.

But either way, this is why if people ask for opinions on originality then they shouldn't cover up any of the details such as the surname as it prevents people carrying out checks. It is just as well that the name was missed out on the second image.

Yes the signature is made with a black Pen , but looks good to me.
and not repainted.

The User " Michel" have a document with Zapp signature
I add them now to these thread
and found another in the Net.

Do you have a scanner that you can use to make the images? The lighting/flash on the photos doesn't help.
