ritterkreuz award certificate?

hello i found this dicument under an ashtray in some old ladys house.
little absurdal is fact that is cutted and married with this ashtray.from what i found in the web it can be a piece of knights cross award certificate the original measures are 17x14 cm this one under the ashtray cutted and married measure a 10cm from up to down and 10 from the crners.the fact that the adler and the down side are cutted the both horizontal edges also also it gives me that the measures once was near the 17 and 14cm.what do you think about this strange marriage?sorry i.m not permitted to apply photos so i give a links to the web side.and one link to the orriginal sold one on one of the auction sites.regards.the date and name of solder are real i found him on one of the rorums he was awarded exactly in the 13.11.42.the second bigger date is part of the ashtray
