Tips on spotting fake images

Being a somewhat new collector of images from the Third Reich I would appreciate any advice, tricks or tools that the experienced collectors would share in regards to detecting reproductions/copies being sold as original. Many thanks in advance.

Anything stamped 'Archive' in Russian, English or Ukrainan to start.

A good thing to learn is the image search from google

to see if the pic has been seen before.


Also stay clear of photos that look muddy
