Hi ,


I have in hands this WP of a TK soldier,
the WP itself is fine, but not sure about the awards page ( IAB,EK2..)
Opinions are welcome,

I am not experienced on these but I do notice the promotions are done in the same handwriting as the awards. So if the awards would be fake entries the promotions on the same page would be fake as well. I guess the name can be checked in some list or register and see if the rank matches?

same stamp too. the award signature is obviously a tentative to reproduce the dienstelle page one

I believe the award entries are post-war enhancements, and the promotion page signature a poor attempt at reproducing a Sutterlin-script endorsement.

So, this page need to be cleaned....
Note the IAB is attribued in 42, at this period, the soldier is in a ersatz signal unit....

It is a shame that a decent 'T-Div' Wehrpass in its own right, has suffered the attention of poor post-war enhancements in order to pimp it up as a more desirable piece.
