looks period to me- it's not uncommon for military related books form the TR period to have a small abbendum about insignia etc. in it. I think, you did well.

Hi Matt, nice little purchase.

Any period reference works are always sought after. Hence the reason why they are reprinted today. Pity about the cover being missing.
