            Seeing this one makes me wonder if there might be any other albums from any other camp. Who knows? This is the only one I’ve seen.

              Hi,

              actually many similar albums exist, despite the low probability that they fall in historian hands.

              The one your posted in the lastest "big" one that was found, but you also have :

              - the infamous and historically ultra important "Kurt Franz album" showing many locations of the Aktion Reinhard Treblinka death camp, mostly known for the title written in it "Schöne Zeiten" - "Good old days" - which gave the title of another famous book studying the Holocaust see here : https://www.amazon.com/Good-Old-Days...qid=1539126398 ).

              This album is showing everything but... the new gas chambers (the old gas chambers building is pictured in the background of one picture).
              I'm attaching three pages of the album below :
              - the famous page with "Schöne Zeiten" showing Sobibor then Treblinka death camp commander Franz Stangl ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franz_Stangl ) and Kurt Franz (ldeputy of Stangl in Treblinka, then last commander of the camp in fall 1943);
              - Barry, the Saint Bernard dog of Kurt Franz, known to attack inmates viciously,
              - pictures of some of the foxes of the "Zoo" of the camp.

              This album helped to reconstruct the whole camp, Alex Bay did an amazing job here :
              https://phdn.org/archives/holocaust-...org/Treblinka/
              Alex also did the same for Belzec :
              https://shoah-treblinka.com/BelzecIndex.html

              - the other most famous album is the "original" "Auschwitz album", which is showing the arrival of Hungarian Jews convoy in Auschwitz III - Birkenau in early June 1944, and the process of selection. The album stops a few meters from the Crematoriums II & III...

                  Hi,

                  you're welcome !
                  "The good old days" is a good basic book on the subject, and yes the main interest is that you can find it for cheap online.
