Hello Gents, I picked up this interesting Kriegsmarine Group Photo today and was wondering if anyone has seen one before. Its mounted on what I believe is a custom purchase that they could buy from the photographer to mount their pics on. The matte has different Naval Scenes all around the outside edges. The whole piece measures 11x14. I have looked but cannot find another like it.
It has a few issues and mainly the Kriegsmarine Flag at the top has been Denazified at some point and someone used a marker to draw it back on. The guy I got it from is in the Service and said he picked it up in Germany while stationed there years ago. Looks to be Pre WW2? Also has a name at bottom left corner, maker or photographer Hans Friedmann Munchen. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
