Still dreary outside so I'm busy scanning photos. I've recently posted some other paper items that came from a large grouping. I'd now like to share some of the highlights from the photos in the group. There are literally hundreds of them, so it was quite hard to decide what to post. But I hope you all enjoy seeing these.

Cool pics of a knocked out German Panther tank. I'm not really surprised that the GI misidentified it as a Panzer IV. What surprises me is that he didn't call it a Tiger. I've spoken with hundreds of US veterans and many of them, when they get to talking about combat experiences against German armor, invariably call every tank a Tiger. Similarly, almost every German artillery piece in dubbed an "88." Just one of those quirky things that shows us the mindset of these guys and let's us glimpse a little of their world.
