Hi,

you know that it is not true. Check the community forum, to see the number of scams in the US and other Western European countries.
You can check for example the (in)famous Regen case, in which not only Foreign collectors were scammed, but dozen of Russian collectors...

And most of the scams are not worth the few bucks of the Russian archives pictures that are peanut in term of scamming imo...
If the collector is doing his homework, he will not be fooled by them.
You will find idiots everywhere on Earth, not only in less developed countries.

Last year a Romanian contact took the time to go the the biggest German cemetary in Bucarest to take pictures of the grave of a great-uncle of a friend of mine (who is also a WAF member), he even had to get in contact with the local Volksbund administration as the cemetary is not open every day.
