Trieste - Kleine Berlin

I am looking for information/photographs of the Villa Ara, situated at the rear of Via di Romagna 32, in Trieste. This area was known as Kleine Berlin and was riddled with underground tunnels. I have only been able to find one image of the villa, which apparently no longer exists. I am hoping there are other images and information about this building which was the late wartime home of Odilo Globocnik.

Hi Max, I literally live IN the area where the park surrounding the villa was. Yes, it was destroyed, but the tunnels still exist. There are also a pair of books with the exploration of such tunnels, but in italian only.
