LAH Tigers

Hi there,


Tiki is saying that the Tigers belong to LAH because of the markings. Only the 13th Kompanie Pz Regiment 1 LSSAH had this style of Tiger markings, the large 13 for the Kompanie number, the smaller digits for the vehicle ID. This was the type of marking used during the Kursk Campaign.

I suspect that they turned up in th TK photo album, as the soldier was near the LAH before/during the campaign.

Now I understand and thanks for the explanation! I wish they belonged to me. My friend has some unbelievabile Panzer photos and portraits...puts my collection to shame. Cheers! - Bill
