outstanding portraits Bill. Question? is the award on the right breast in the first pic the same as the the award on the left breast on the last pic? They look the same minus the crown. Must be a hungarian award as he doesn't look old enough to have been in WW1, at least to me. MikeComment

It looks like the decoration on the right is a much higher class award. I don't know too much about any of the Hungarian/Rumanian medal or decorations. Bill

BTW thats a beautiful portrait in the first post. The modified PAB in wear is magnificent! The portarit photo in post#5 cleraly illustrates that war has exacted its terrible toll on a once proud man. Tell your friend, thanks for sharing.
