Hi,
I have bought what I think is my first "field-written letter." The only problem being that the cancellation mark is faint and smeared. At the top of the circle is "HAMM" At the bottom is WES**/ 1s. (I put astericks where I am not certain what it says)
The line in the middle is the hardest to read. Some say it is M 8.41.12-13 or M 0.41.12-13. The letter was written in 1941. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
