Soviet POW wearing SS tunic

Photo I stumbled across showing Soviet POWs being sprayed with DDT after liberation.
He is wearing an SS tunic with the collar up, and the sleeve eagle still in place:

Interesting photo indeed, the ex POW being sprayed is wearing a freshly pressed pair of trousers and is carrying what might possibly be an unissued pair of schnürschuh, without the laces. The shirt he's wearing also appears to be of the type worn by the Wehrmacht and SS.

he has boots in hand and ss stug wrap on,for sure taken from Dachau ss uniform depot .
