Hi,
i found out two wedding editions with a similar "raw" slipcase with stamps and staples on the sides.
The first is for a 1943 edition :

Another one is for a 1942 edition :

It has been my impression that the cheaper, stapled slipcase with the Sonderausgabe Bürgermeister (or Oberbürgermeister) stamp started being used in the later publication days, for the "Kriegsausgabe" printings. In those shown above there is a 1942 and a 1943 editions; I have one from 1942 also. Though I also have one from 1942 with the sturdier gray/black glued slipcase.
I have seen one example of the stapled cardboard slipcase marked with the city name.
"Sonderausgabe Bürgermeister" was apparently the official designation for what is usually called the "Hochzeitsausgabe" or wedding edition.
Best,
Greg
