Luftwaffe Pay Book...Or Something?

Greetings Gents,

A friend who is dipping his toes into the world of Third Reich collecting sent me these images and asked what I thought about this item. Apparently, he found it on some sort of Facebook flea market page.

I told him my initial thoughts are that this is a forgery and that I'm 99% sure of that but I'm really not up to snuff on documents, pay books, and the like.

Not long ago, I browsed a thread about outrageous fake pay books made out to major SS figures and famous units being sold on Ebay and the like. To me, this one looks to be a fake in the same style as the ones featured in that thread. It took me a bit of searching, but here it is for reference:

But just to be thorough, I'd like some confirmation that this is one of those same forgeries and not worth the $300 my friend says is being asked for it.

I have to say that they don't seem to be very smart about it. Each one of these things seems to bear the same characteristics like they were all printed and filled in by the same person.

If I, as a babe in the woods as far as documents are concerned, can notice this and make the connection based on the briefest perusal of a thread on the subject, how in the world are so many people fooled by them that there is a market for their mass production?

Truly astounding.
