    Photo album seeing-eye dogs Wehrmacht

Hello. I've had many interesting photo albums during the last couple of years but when I opened this album 20 min. ago I couldn't believe my eyes!
This is the most interesting photo album I ever had.

The album is about a seeing-eye dog training unit for blind and disabled soldiers!
I took some quick pictures to show you what the album is about.

There are many photos inside with different kind of carts the dogs have to pull. Does someone have an idea what they could be for?

If desired I'll take better pictures tomorrow at daylight.

    Hope you like the photos!

    Regards, Matthias

This is certainly one of a kind, EIn Unikat!

        Congratulations.

The cart seems to be a training device to get the dogs used to passing only in locations where something the size of a man can also pass, and only on easy terrain.

Very interesting, and also very sad to see that disabled soldier, regardless of the little eagle on his sleeve.

I think you are right. That might be an explanation.

Outstanding piece. I love it. I have one of those harnesses somewhere. Will need to dig it out and take some photos.

                    Thank you very much.

Btw., regarding your search, there is a "Krampnitz" grouping for sale at the German MFF at the moment:

Here is the harness I have. Looks similar to those seen in the photos but not exact.
