Moravaska Ostrova is actually Moravska Ostrava in Czech republic. There was a big air raid on 29 August 1944 with hundreds of civilian casualties. Interesting some sources mention only Liberators, not B17´s.

A great photo, together with the good news that the whole crew survived! Looks like it hit fairly lightly and didn't break apart; the nose glass even appears intact. Glad no one was sitting in the belly turret when this one came down!
