That citation design was used by 20.Pz.Division (hence the divisional symbol at the top). I used to own an example to a member in Pz.Jäg.Abt 92.

No idea if this particular example is period.

Actually, having checked my files I used to have the Sturmabzeichen variant to the Pz.Jäg.Abt 92 soldier but it was done in the same style.

Scarce, uncommon, but not extremely rare. 20.Panzer-Division Print. As Hucks said, the same Design exists for the GAB, I saw both several time, but none other type.
Saying if the one shown before is original is hard to say, but it makes me a good Feeling.
