      I agree that the signature doesn't look anything like known and verified originals. The document looks good though or is it all a fabrication. Jim

          Kind of such documents circles since 2-3 year through several german auction houses. Also with other rare signatures like Dirlewanger or von dem Bach.

                I would say fake. Very similar to another example I have in my files....right down to the wide tipped fountain pen. HH has presented dubious CvS signatures before, in common with several other houses (e.g. schmolt). I enquired about provenance on one and got a fairy story that did not IMO hold up.

                    i saw it to be auctioned at HH auctionhouse today.
                    after years passes, i am not strange that HH sells fakes.
                    in China ancient section, there are so many.....
                    we couldn't depand on others people or auctionhouse to offer
                    original stuff for our collection, just depand on your own skills.

                      Decorations were the job of the IIa, not the Ia.
                      Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.
