Deschler War Merit Cross 1st Class & Document to SS Dr Heinrich Schutz

Hi All!

I went to the SOS and managed to pick up a Cased Deschler KVK 1st Class with Swords and the award document to SS Hauptsturmfuhrer Dr. Heinrich Schütz.

He was award it on January 21, 1942 during his service with the SS LAH.

From my brief look in the Officers Lists, there was only one officer by this name, he was later promoted to Sturmbannfuhrer der Reserve and didi servive the war.

I managed to get a few pics up.

For those interested, he was born on April 12, 1906, SS Nr. 312 267 and in the July 1, 1944 DAL he was stationed at the SS Hospital at Dachau.

He was tried for War Crimes in the 1970's and was able to get his sentenced thrown out due to poor health and died a free man in the 1980s.
