Gran Sasso's bottom photo on the left: Clearly shows an Edelweiss in wear on the correct side of her cap. That my friends is clear evidence, that my original photo is correct.

I'm just a first year Forum member and an admittedly inexperienced Collector trying to learn a new hobby after retiring, but from where I'm sitting up here in the cheap seats it looked like ValhallaMilitaria totally nailed it with his brief comment.
There are times it keeps me and some friends from posting questions.

I would encourage new members to ask questions because that's how we all learn. I've been collecting since the 1970s and continue to learn. I would also recommend buying good reference books. Here's a decent book on Wehrmacht female auxiliaries. Not perfect but worth having. Jim
