      It's probably repo. Looks like those sold by Globe years ago.

        just got it. bottom says Nürnberg-Fürth and I can't quite make out the top, it stamps very lightly, sponge foundation is very soft and resilient,

          Repro in my opinion.

            i should clarify that i did not use any new ink. i just rubbed some warm water on the stamp and used the old ink that was on it. this could be the reason it doesn't stamp well, perhaps.
