    Belsen Document. Genuine? Opinions Please.

This is not my area of expertise and I would very much appreciate your comments, please.

It was bought in it's modern frame at an auction. It is typed in both Russian and German. It is dated 31st March 1943. It gives instructions to occupants in case of an air raid.

The paper is very, very thin and delicate.

The rear of the frame mentions a RR Tilleard-Cole who apparently removed the document at Belsen and also translated it.

My research suggests that this man was Colonel Professor Richard Tilleard-Cole OBE FRCPsysec MA of the British Army (Wiltshire Regiment). He was born on the 11 November 1923 and died on 21st February 2013.

I have no details of his service history.

    Thanks in advance.

The document gives rules of the behavior of the prisoners during air raids on the KZ Camp

                Bergen-Belsen..

                    Hi Viscount,

Looks to me like a totally genuine document, possibly written to inform the occupants of the Russian POW Camp which was under the control of the Bergen-Belsen KZ system on how to behave during allied air raids.
If you visit Belsen today, there is a signposted path which takes you from the main KZ to the "Russian Camp", which is a sattelite camp a few miles away from the KZ itself.
Many thousands of POW's were sent to this place, and many thousands died due to harsh treatment, starvation, and being worked to death.
                    Thanks for showing this document,

                    Best wishes,

                    John.
