Grand Hotel and Kurhaus were located next to each other. Grand Hotel was taken down in 1972-1974.

Soldiers on the beach is also Scheveningen and in the background “De Pier”. Part of the Pier is also visible on the photo of the Kurhaus.

The two photos above the soldiers on the beach show one of the barracks designed by “Kapitein der Genie A.G. Boost”.
Several were built during the thirties and finished during the German occupation in 1940.
I think this is the “Westenberg Kazerne, Schalkhaar”. It is the best match I could make with a photo from after the war.
