Just saw this very rare (never seen before) portrait of general staff insigna on a wrap. It is for sale on the e-stand. Finding gs insignia on a period portrait on a standard uniform is just about impossible, but on a wrap? HOPE THE SELLER DON'T MIND ME POSTING IT HERE. J

It's not that rare a photo. It is one of the portraits taken after Heinz-Günther Guderian won the Knight's Cross in 1944, as Ia of the 116. Panzer Division. You can see the photo, for example, in Guderian's history of the 116. Panzer Division (German or English version). It is nice that this one is signed (he also signed the English books, under his photo).
