Died November 1983.

but actually he saigned this document in Nov., 1944 and
my HJ Nahkampftage liste he signed also in the end of 1944.

He has signed the document as a Btl-Führer, not a Btl-Kdr. The former is best described as being a temporary command until someone either takes up the position officially or until their appointment is confirmed.

Schrott also signed as Btl-Fhr after Scappini's death. so for a long time there is no official Btl-Kdr.
