1936 Luftwaffe Funeral in Allenstein / Olsztyn in East Prussia

Waiting on those 2 photos - they are from a Luftwaffe funeral in Allenstein from 1936.

Any feedback regarding who funeral it was ? The Luftwaffe base in Deuthen (Dajtki) was a small field airbase so in my opinion it was somebody important - possibly from Legion Condor.

Perhaps. Looks like a veterans organization is part of the parade. Maybe a retired senior officer/general officer funeral?

One possibility could be a look into the local Allenstein Newspaper 1936.

The Berlin Staatsbibliothek has the year 1936 in ist stock.

Thanks and it has been mentioned before. Archives in Olsztyn also have the microfilms of the Allensteiner Zeitung. Now to find someone :-)
