Never come across Ron R,s variation before but have two of the other versions, so two more "Marleen's" to hunt down!
Have a common variation, a horizonal artwork card of a greatcoated guard at attention by a wooden sentry box; with the "Kaserne" title.
Also, have once seen a card on orange stock; cannot remember details but may have just been the song lyrics?
There does not seem to be many versions of this songcard around considering how popular the song was; perhaps it was because Dr. Goebbels was reported to have disliked the song due to it not being of an heroic nature.
This song was huge in the UK during the war, and is the song of the British 8th Army. There is also a British propaganda film, "The True Story Of Lili Marleen" which is available on DVD.
Rhino records in the US produced a four CD box set of the song many years ago with over 120 versions of the song.
Just been looking at my postcards, there is another common variation with the "Kaserne" title; a photocard of a sentry outside a barracks with a striped sentry box and a column with and eagle on top - maybe one of the Berlin barracks?
