Can anybody tell me the value of this art magazine ? I got it from my ex in laws in Germany in 1988, their father was KIA with the Africa corps. The binding is a little beat up and some loss on the cover, inside is excellent.

Hi,
"Kunst Dem Volk" is one of the art magazines of NS Germany.
What you have is the first (of two) "Sonderheft" (special issue) on the annual art exhibition of München for the year 1941. Around 60 pages.
The exhibition took place from 1937 to 1944 during a few weeks at the Haus der Kunst :

The painting on the front cover was called "Bildnis des Führers" (Führer's portrait) by Franz Triebsch, and was presented during the 1941 exhibition (postcard below showing the painting in situ).
Due to condition, i will say that you can ask around 10 euros for it.
At least one website has a copy in very good condition for 18 euros.
