How rare is the Familien Chronik book?

Like anything else, many variables. Empty, in good condition, probably $50-$100 for the "standard" version, and of course more for the SS.

If they're filled out, it will depend on the contents, how exciting the unit is, what sort of photos are there, etc. etc. etc.

Overall condition - like new to heavily used/pages missing - factors in.

Basically, without pictures, it's fair to say a Familien Chronik would be worth somewhere between $2.00 and $2,000.00.

Hi,

first, many variations of the "Familien-Chronik" exist (it was produced by various companies).

Some collectors prefer to get it mint/empty, other prefer to find it with infos of a member of the A-SS or W-SS.

I will say that you can get it from 300 to 3000 euros, depending on the condition and infos filled in.

The book is not very common i must admit, and like the "Gestaltung der Feste" book, they are most wanted by many SS collectors.
