Hi Guys. Gotten 2 days ago this little Group, containing only 2 documents : Portrait of Hans-Georg E., born Luenebburg 1922.
A nice Portrait as a Lt waering the Braunschweiger Totenkopf. a (just for me I think ;-) fantastic Photo Group from his O.A.L. at the "Schule für schnelle Truppen Krampnitz" taken on 1.12.42 as the wqhole "Inspektion" has just been promoted Leutnant... and the Insignias, removed from his personal Files...
Hans-Georg entered service 1941 in his Hometown Lüneburg by Kav.Ers.Abt.13 and was legitimate for wearing the "BS-Totenkopf". he then was transferred to the A.A.158, part of the 58.I.D. That is very logical, the A.A.158 was created on 26.8.39 in Lüneburg from former Kav.Rgt.13..... Not the 3 Colours band worn on the left Shoulderboard....After his first front experiences in Russia, he was send to the Krampnitzer-School as a "Fahnenjunker-Wachtmeister". Later he joined the "Kavallerie-Rgt "Nord"...... and this Time was authorised to wear the "Leibhusuren Totenkopf", that you can see here attached to a small leather Pouch originally containing his Dog-Tag....
His last rank was "Oblt" and he was only decorated, as far as I know, the Iron Cross 2nd class...
Comments are welcome... The historical Basis seems clear to me.... but, even if I think all artifacts are originals, all opinions are very welcome, especially for the 2 "Totenköpfe".... I think also the little Pin "KR13" is from regiment meetings after the war, but again, your opinion is needed !
