Hello members of the board,
at the moment I´m writing a biography about the life of Hellmut Kurrer. I was able to get over 1.500 photos and negatives of him.
I know, that his award documents and his tunic was sold about 11 years ago. Now I´m looking for the owner of documents and I hope, I can find him this way.
Dear Owner - it would be nice, to get scans of the documents of Hellmut Kurrer or maybe the chance to buy the documents. If so - I would pay a high price or there might be a possibility to trade another u-boat group which I own.
These documents are:
Promotion document to Leutnant, Oberleutnant and Kapitänleutnant
Destroyer Badge award document
Official formal Death Document
Document to the Iron Cross Second Class
Neptun document cruiser Emden
4 year Service medal
"Diver" document
I would be lucky to get a PN.
