My opinion is that it's a beautiful photograph ruined by a fake signature.

In my opinion, the dedication portion is not AH's handwriting.

Some more pictures. I still can't decide.

I think whoever wrote that did the signature as the weight and style of the penmanship seems consistent. What makes you think it isn't real?

I have no opinion on this AH signature but for $3995 USD it's not worth the risk IMO (It was for sale at the MAX show last week). You can get an original AH signature on a promotion document for much less and without the worry.

Ratisbon just sold one such document in their last auction for $1440 USD plus 17.5% and with Von Blomberg as well! Portrait signatures are a minefield.

              Regards,
              AB.

I agree. The entire signature and handwriting is forged by the same hand in my opinion.
The signature displays a number of characteristics of being "drawn", typical of forgeries. The pen nib has obviously paused and been lifted from the surface in a few places. It is written by a "nervous" hand and is not consistent with the natural flow of an authentic autograph. There are also mistakes in the copying of Hitler's handwriting.
However, I believe the frame is original and is consistent with the design of frame gifted by Hitler prior to the introduction of the boxed version. The green backing is a later post-war addition. The original backing was leather.
As I previously stated, in my opinion a beautiful photo ruined by a forger in order to increase its value.
                Sorry,
                Max.
