Interesting Volkstrum poster

Hi. Dennis here. I picked this up several years ago. the guy I got it from had a picker in Germany and he said it came from an old bank in Berlin. The paper is fragile but real. This is a neat rare poster. However I took it down to re-frame it and discovered that this is really two identical posters laid on top of each other to complete one full poster. I'm guessing the picker found two damaged posters and put the two together.

I had thought of selling it but I'm sure the value would drop now even though it is a pretty rare poster. I was concerned with how to price it when I thought it was one complete poster and now I would have no idea so I guess I'll just keep it. It is pretty cool anyway.

Still a cool and very decorative piece, but the condition is a problem and decreases the price by a lot IMO....

Hard so see the damage from the pictures besides the obvious missing parts.

It really is. they fit together flawlessly. I forgot (if I ever knew) that they were two sperate posters. The framer brought it to my attention and I was suprised. Really they look like they have been together a real long time (long before the picker broght it back from Germany)
I'm convinced they are legitmate though. They look real good the way I framed them with a brown backing in a nice lage antique frame.
