Hi,

pictures taken in the Groenplaats in Antwerp, Belgium, in the Summer of 1945.
Behind the V2, the Hilton Hotel.

An exhibition took place in the Groenplaats square, which included captured V1 and V2 and various British and American planes and vehicles.

Antwerp was the main target for the V2 rocket (more than half of the 3100 launched V2), and 561 people were killed on December 16 on the Rex Cinema in Antwerp when it was destroyed by a direct hit.

- a British Horsa glider.

Hi,

in the foreground, the Hilton hotel. We can clearly see the Horsa glider, and the P-51 Mustang.
The P-47, the Churchill, the V1 and V2 are hidden by the angled picture.
