    Post War reproduction photos?

    Hello all,

I am assuming these are post war reproductions but i don't know for sure. Please let me know what you guys think.

    Thanks,

    Hey all,

So I picked the pictures up and I think they are postcards and it looks like they are period. The backside (or front?) of the package has a list of postcards that are included and all the ones listed are included. In addition I have another 20 or so postcards. One in particular that I noticed was an SS marked card where it appears to be Hitler visiting a wounded soldier. Can I please get some opinions on these? Thanks

    Dave C

          Hi Dave,

this is not post war made.

It is a part of the pictures belonging to the collecting picture album "Deutschland Erwacht" with 225 pictures.
The "Bilder-Gruppen" 28-33 represent the complete pictures for the album.

            Hello Uwe,

at first all I had was the photos I posted and I assumed they were replicas. But I just picked these up this morning and they seem to be period, as you mentioned. The packet has about 25 pictures listed and they are all included. In addition to that there is another 20 or so photos. All in pretty good shape.

I am not a photo guy and got this with a trade I did. Do you know what the lot worth? Maybe I can find someone to trade for an item in my collection focus.

            Thanks

            Dave C

              Hi,

totally 100% original period pictures for period photo albums.

Made to dozen of thousands back in the day, you can find them by full cardboards in Germany. Some dealers are specialized in them, them can find you any picture or any serie mint in original period folders.

Notice that the print quality for those 30's and 40's pictures is quite exceptional.

              See You

              Vince
